One of the legendary epics, The Ten Commandments, has arrived in a Blu-ray Digibook version. It’s time in term of Easter coming up. The film comes in both the 1923 and 1956 versions. The awesome part is that it comes with some fantastic special features that includes photo galleries, the making of featurette and more.

Cecil B. DeMille’s 1956 classic is one of the most renowned movies ever. It features a memorable performance from Charlton Heston who plays Moses. The film tells the story of Moses guiding people to freedom. The costumes are very elaborate. The sets are epic and fascinating due to their grand appearance. The film was actually shot in Egypt and the Sinai.

The 1923 version is silent. Just in case you were wondering. Both movies should be seen for the sheer spectacle that they embody. The 1923 version is over 2 hours, but the 1956 is nearly 4 hours long! So you can certainly spread it out over a couple days in order to get the most out of your watching experience.
