Brian Austin Green on Shannen Doherty’s Cancer Struggle and Thoughts on the 90210 Reboot

Brian Austin Green was a 90’s idol. He was part of one of the most successful shows of that era, when he starred as David Silver for nine years on Beverly Hills 90210. I had a chance to speak to Brian at Jane Seymour’s Open Hearts Foundation event in Beverly Hills (ironic). Brian spoke about his family live with wife Megan Fox, Shannen Doherty’s cancer battle and the recent BH90210 reboot, plus much more.

REAL TALK:

This was my first time interviewing Brian. He was great. Great interview. I found Brian to be very forthcoming and engaging. Just the kinda guy you’d grab a drink and shoot the breeze with.

He certainly has been through a lot lately with Luke Perry’s death and now Shannen Doherty’s cancer battle. Those were his longtime castmates. He admitted to not knowing how to deal with that. Must be hard.

Brian spoke about his home life and about doing projects with Megan. He seems to be in a great place with his family and marriage.

I appreciate him giving a thoughtful answer on his feelings about the new 90210 reboot that came out the past summer. He seemed to acknowledge that not everyone enjoyed it. He did state he’s done playing David Silver, so that was fairly newsworthy to hear.

Overall, very nice guy and enjoyable to talk to.
