LAFC came away with a draw in Dallas, but suffered a big blow when Igor Jesus went down with what looked like a serious injury during the match. Unfortunately that injury turned out as bad as it appeared. Jesus tore his ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2025 season, plus potentially more.
Jesus, 22, appeared in 24 regular season matches (22 starts) for LAFC this season. It’s not going to be easy to replace Jesus, especially at this point of the season. This is a big loss for the squad and unfortunate news for Igor Jesus, who had become an integral part of this team. LAFC will need others to step up and fill the gap in the midfield in this crucial final quarter of the season.
