Big night for Windy City Bulls as they celebrate “Polish Heritage Night”. Bulls wearing a Polish themed jersey. The Polish eagle on the shorts. Poland’s country outline in red on the back of the jerseys, along with the customary “Byki” (Bulls) on the front of the all-black jerseys. My favorite alternate jerseys the team has worn this season.

Needless to say, a huge Polish turnout for the game. Back to the game, Capital City Go-Go comes in with the best record in the league at 13-5. This will be a tough challenge for the new-look Bulls.
New faces in new places. The Windy City Bulls come back from the All-Star Showcase break with faces of the team Adama Sanogo and Marcus Domask departing. Enter Jahmir Young and Eric Gaines.
David Muoka gets extra run with the release of Adama Sanogo and Muoka showcasing himself well, rim running and shot blocking. Muoka always had an edge on Sanogo when it comes to athleticism.

Capital City Go-Go do have a new intriguing player on the team in the recently acquired A.J. Johnson, who came over in the Kyle Kuzma-Khris Middleton trade with Milwaukee. Johnson previously played on the Wisconsin Herd.
Bulls are competitive in this game, you can see coach Billy Donovan III playing a more up-tempo style and running up-and-down the floor.
Windy City kept it close throughout the first half and heading into halftime trailing, but right in the game. Emmanuel Miller, Jahmir Young and Muoka leading the way.
The Bulls have a shortage of bigs, especially compared to the Go-Go’s, but are making it up with speed.

Bulls in it at the start of the third, but Go-Go started building a lead and pulling away. Entering the fourth quarter, Capitol City up double digits.
Windy City make a small run at the start of the fourth, but Go-Go quickly regain their momentum. When I say shots were falling for Capitol City, I mean it’s as if they were tossing the ball into the ocean! Any chance of a Bulls comeback was dashed early in the fourth. Final score 128-107 Go-Go.

The best team in the league takes care of business. The Bulls can score, but defense is going to continue being a problem going forward, especially with an undersized roster.
Quick turnaround, running it back tomorrow, same two teams in less than 24 hours. We shall see if there will be a better outcome for the Bulls.
UP NEXT:
It’s a back-to-back early afternoon game. The Bulls will have a chance to redeem themselves against Capital City.
PLAYER OF THE GAME:
Making his home debut, Jahmir Young had a team high 22 points and 7 assists. It will sting losing Sanogo, who established himself with the team and fans over the past couple seasons, but Young is a very good addition.

He’s fast with the ball, can score buckets and be one a guy who gets the team rolling. If he continues to show what he has since his arrival.
NOTES:
Windy City did a great job with “Polish Heritage Night”. Pre-game festivities on the concourse. The fan giveaway was a Gus T. Polish themed bobblehead. Polish music playing in the arena. Polish national anthem sung before the game. Polish halftime entertainment. Plus, those “Byki” jerseys. As a proud Polish-American, they knocked it out of the park. An “A” grade for Polish night!
