Millions have read the “Baxter Family Series” books from Karen Kingsbury. Now, thanks to the connection between Karen Kingsbury and Roma Downey, the books are coming to life in the Prime Video series The Baxters. Based on the Redemption series.

I spoke to Roma and Karen about the new series. They spoke about their faith. Plus, much more!

REAL TALK:

Roma has been such a prominent figure in television. Who hasn’t seen her on Touched By An Angel? She’s so graceful and has such a presence about her. Just a wonderful, classy lady. Karen was equally wonderful to speak with. She spoke passionately about her faith and her father’s influence on her in creating The Baxters.

Both ladies spoke about how faith plays a huge part in their lives. It’s no surprise they were drawn to each other. Karen shared a story about how her late father suggested she reach out and connect with Roma and now here they are together creating this series. Pretty unbelievable stuff.

The show releases on Easter weekend, so very timely placed release.

THE BAXTERS premiers on Prime Video on March 28, 2024
