Interview: Tania Raymonde

Read Time:1 Minute, 2 Second

Tania Raymonde is a familiar fast in film and television. You’ve seen her on Lost, Goliath and back in the day on Malcolm in the Middle, next you can see her in the thriller Walden, starring opposite Emile Hirsch and Shane West.

I spoke to Tania Raymonde about working on the film and playing a detective and how the movie became nothing that she expected to be.

REAL TALK:

Tania is just plain cool. Easy to chat with. Says what’s on her mind. I’ve enjoyed her work for a while. So lots of Walden talk. Apparently Tania was caught by surprise on what the film ended up becoming. Emile Hirsch is awesome in the role of Walden, who is just such an odd, eccentric and fascinating character.

We both got a kick out of discussing a variety of aspects of the film, including that wild town in the story. It was interesting to hear Tania discuss the screening they had for the stenographers and how it’s the first film about that profession. Kinda surprising, but believable.

Walden is a really weird and interesting movie that kept me intrigued throughout.

WALDEN is available on VOD/Digital on Tuesday, December 12
