Iconic actor Pierce Brosnan joined Reel Talker Jim Alexander for a conversation about his latest film Fast Charlie, working with James Caan and next Bond!

What an honor and cool experience speaking with the iconic Pierce Brosnan. Unfortunately there was a connection issue, so Pierce had to join through the phone instead of Zoom. Kind of a bummer, but still super cool experience to talk to the legend.
Pierce sounded very cool, seemed pretty personable, overall came off as a gentleman. I didn’t ask much, instead I wanted to hear him talk and share his stories and experiences. He has this great storytelling voice and just to hear him talk about his experience with James “Jimmy” Caan, was something special. Fast Charlie was one of Caan’s final films and seems like everyone was very much aware working on it that this film would be special.
Pierce did a great job as Charlie Swift, the character definitely had a Bond aura about him, Pierce confirmed that notion. Speaking of Bond, I had to ask a Bond question. Pierce didn’t get into it, but he did offer his compliments who whomever gets the role. He probably gets asked constantly about Bond and who will play him, so him not really wanting to delve into that would be understandable, if that’s the case.
Fast Charlie was a good time. Great cast and fun thriller, which is something Pierce Brosnan excels at.
