One of the best things about Netflix is that it constantly releases new content every week or every other
week. Of course, not all of them are worth watching but seeing new films being added to our libraries —
both old and new – makes Netflix more fun. I was just browsing through my app early this week, and I
have already watched several movies that I think you guys would enjoy.
Just a piece of advice, whenever you’re TV streaming on Netflix, a fast internet connection is a must.
That is, if you want the best video quality and no interruptions. This is just a bit of friendly advice from
someone who sometimes watches movies on Netflix with a poor internet connection only to get
frustrated and annoyed. Anyhow, let’s start!
Back in Action (2025):
I so loved this movie! Back in Action is about two CIA spies (Emily and Matt) who went MIA in the middle of an important mission because of the growing baby inside Emily’s belly. Fifteen years later, they are living the lives of a simple family with two kids. Unfortunately, one day, they are suddenly hunted by the same group they encountered during the mission they abandoned. Now, they need to protect their children while fighting these rebels.
The Sand Castle (2025):
If you’re looking for an eye-opener movie, this Arabic movie is a must-watch. It’s about a family of four
(Nabil, Yasmine, Jana, and Adam) seemingly stranded on a remote island, unsure if they survived a
deadly shipwreck. Nabil and Yasmine focus on trying to fix an old radio for help, while Jana draws and
Adam stays distant. Every night, Nabil lights the lighthouse in hopes that someone will see it. But as days
pass with no rescue, hope fades, and they start to wonder — will they ever be saved?

This movie has a great plot twist. I won’t say much about it but it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. If
you’re going to watch this, make sure your internet service provider is not holding any maintenance or
data throttling that’ll ruin your streaming experience.
Laura (2024):
Laura is a new movie based on a true story. It’s about Edelenyi Laura, popularly known as Laura Anna.
She’s an Indonesian influencer who got into an accident because of his ex-boyfriend. Unfortunately, she
became paralyzed due to a spinal injury while his boyfriend only had minor injuries. Even though her
boyfriend stays by her side, her new reality creates conflicts between them that eventually tear them
apart.
If you like movies based on true stories, you will love this movie. If your existing internet plan isn’t good
for streaming, it’s better to look for better plans like what Metronet offers. You’ll understand and enjoy
this movie more that way.
You Gotta Believe (2024):
Here’s another movie based on a true story. You Gotta Believe is an inspiring movie about Bobby Ratliff
and Jon Kelly, two best friends, coaching a struggling Little League team. Shortly after, Bobby was
diagnosed with cancer, which left Jon leading the team to 2002 LLWS. This team of misfits now
dedicates every game to their sick coach, hoping to reach the World Series finals and make their Coach
Bobby proud.
Final Thoughts:
There are lots of new movies and TV series on Netflix that’ll keep us busy for days. If you’re looking for
new ones to watch, I swear by these titles. I really had a lot of fun watching them, and you’ll also learn a
lot from them along the way. I hope you give them a try. Happy streaming!
