Mark Critch is a Canadian legend. People in the US have now grown more familiar with his life story through his TV show Son of a Crich. Season three is now airing on the CW. I had a chance to speak with Mark Critch about the show and his life experiences that are documented on it.
I found Mark to be a fun and lively individual. Naturally funny also. Cool guy. It’s pretty incredible what he’s been able to achieve having a popular novel and a TV show, that’s now entering a third season and is broadcasted on Canadian and American television. That’s a big deal. It’s hard to get a second season of a show, much less third.
It was pretty funny when Mark said he’d do the show until they would have to cast my part for this interview with him and how he will be searching nurseries to find the actor to play me, that was hilarious.
Mark had high praises for young Benjamin Evan Ainsworth who plays the young Mark Critch on the show. Benjamin is a very good actor and seems to be the perfect fit to play Mark on the show. What surprised me the most is that some of the wildest things you see on the show that don’t seem real, Mark confirmed were real.
