Angel Studios has had a monumental 2023. Sound of Freedom was a huge success. They are ending the year with another promising movie, The Shift. Directed by Brock Heasley and starring Kristoffer Polaha and Neal McDonough.

I had a chance to speak with Brock, Neal and Kristoffer about the film. They spoke about the message and meaning of the movie and shared a strong endorsement for it. Check it all out, below.

REAL TALK:

It was a pleasure getting to speak with the guys, especially Kristoffer Polaha. I was happy I had an opportunity to share my experience meeting Kris for the first time. He was super gracious and encouraging to me, which he didn’t have to be. I won’t forget that. I’m happy I got to share it with him. It was great to see his reaction.

The film is interesting on several fronts, I shared my opinion in the review I did. The cast was outstanding. Kristoffer Polaha is a movie star, it’s time for Hollywood to recognize that. Neal is a fantastic seasoned actor. Been a fan of his for a while.

All the men were clearly very passionate about The Shift. They spoke glowingly and genuinely about it. Sometimes actors hype a movie because they have to, this was heartfelt. I really liked my question answers that I received that were full of depth and thought.

Couldn’t been more satisfied with my conversation with these men. Clearly they joined together to create a project that was meaningful to them. I’m looking forward to what Angel Studios had in store for 2024.

THE SHIFT is out now in Theaters
