What would you do if you won the lottery? Now what would you do if you were within feet of a 156 million dollar winning ticket? Well, you can find out what the characters did in Daniel Brown’s thriller Your Lucky Day.
I had a chance to speak with Daniel Brown (writer/director) and lead actress Jessica Garza about Your Lucky Day. What inspired the story? Working alongside the late Angust Cloud. The “porn mask”! Plus, much more.

Jess and Dan were fun to chat with. Seems like they were having fun discussing the film with me. No doubt they had a good time on this shoot, as evidenced by the laughs they shared discussed the “porn mask”, as I phrased it to them. That was a fun chat.
So the big question was, what would you do with a winning lottery ticket. I thought Jessica’s response was so fun and out-of-the-box. An all-out shopping day in NYC sounds damn good. Now, she had another great answer for what she would do if she found herself in the same situation as her character…run!
It was hard asking about Angust, since his passing is certainly fresh on the minds of those who knew him. Daniel and Jessica had some really genuine and kind things to say about Angust. Seems like he was an awesome person that many loved, gone way too soon.
Your Lucky Day showcases Angus doing his best work. He delivers a really good performance. The film is compelling and intriguing. I enjoyed it and found it to be an entertaining thriller.
