When it comes to the great monsters terrorizing cities, look no further than the epicenter of all, San Francisco, CA. That’s the setting for the upcoming exciting Apple TV+ monster (figuratively and literally) series Monarch: The Legacy of Monsters.
The show is based on Legendary’s Monsterverse. So expect Godzilla and several other giants to appear on the show alongside the human stars, played by Kurt Russell, Kiersey Clemons, Anders Holm, Wyatt Russell and Mari Yamamoto.
The first teaser trailer just dropped, so here is a bit of what you can expect.
REAL TALK:
The trailer looks good. A bit of a found footage feel to it, which I liked. When it comes to Apple TV+ they have set a high standard for production values and cinematic look. This show looks no different. High quality look and standard met. Good mix of veteran recognizable talent and young up-and-comers.
Monsters and Godzilla looked good, high quality CGI. Looks like a mini movie. Won’t lack action and destruction either. I’m excited and really looking forward to the series.
The 10-episode series will premiere globally on Friday, November 17 with two episodes, followed by one episode every Friday through January 12
