Apple TV+ series Swagger debuts their second season on June 23. Follow Jace Carson’s journey to the NBA. The second season returns many of the familiar faces and I had a chance to speak with them during the press tour for season two.
I spoke to star of the show Isaiah R. Hill and his fellow cast members Shinelle Azoroh, Quvenzhane Wallis, Tristan Mack Wilds and Orlando Jones. Check out to fun we had in the videos below.
ISAIAH R. HILL & QUVENZHANE WALLIS:
Isaiah and Quvenzhane were electric, as in their chemistry. I don’t know their dating situation, but these two look like a great match together. No wonder they hit it off on-screen also. I was blown away to find out that Isaiah actually is performing the dunks and moves in the film, especially those explosive dunks! The guy has serious hops and talent.
Quvenzhane has some spunk to her, which is cool. Isaiah is a little more laid back of the two. That Scoot Henderson comp he gave his character Jace is a really good one, look up Scoot if you’re not familiar. The pleasantries they shared with each other were sweet and genuine. I’m rooting for these two!
SHINELLE AZOROH, TRISTAN MACK WILDS & ORLANDO JONES:
This was a fun group. Been a long fan of Orlando and Tristan. Orlando starred in many cult-classic comedies and Tristan from his 90210 days. Shinelle I wasn’t familiar with until this show, but really enjoy her work on this show. As I mentioned her character Jenna Carson is the glue that holds the show together.
They definitely have a good feel on their fellow cast members, especially in terms of who is the life of the party, caretaker, most trustworthy and best hooper. Fun stuff.
