All Elite Wrestling (AEW) fans, brace for a brand new action-packed AEW show coming to TNT in August. AEW: Rampage is the all-new wrestling show that will officially premiere on TNT on Friday nights, starting on Friday, August 13 at 10 P.M. ET/PT.
Along with the announcement, TNT dropped the official trailer for Rampage. Check it out below:
REAL TALK:
Rampage will be an exciting new show that will give further exposure to the AEW brand and the stars of the company. It will follow AEW: Dynamite which airs Wednesday nights. The Rampage trailer looks pretty cool. The biggest names in AEW make appearances in it, including Cody Rhodes, Sting, Chris Jericho and Miro.
I like to look and vibe of the trailer, very superhero-eque, with the lightning energy bolts flowing through the wrestlers bodies. Miro ends the promo with shouting “Rampage”. I thought it was clever and creative. TNT is the home of big blockbuster movies and plenty of superhero ones, so this was on-brand for TNT and the charge of adrenaline that is AEW wrestling. Cool stuff.
