It’s been less than two months since HBO Max debut and they already have made quite the news and impact on the streaming industry. There is a lot of content coming to HBO Max. The following sizzle trailer showcases the variety of shows and specials coming this year.

This newly released, eye-catching brand spot highlights HBO programming, including the upcoming premieres of Lovecraft Country, The Undoing, The Third Day, How To with John Wilson, Industry, We Are Who We Are, the fourth season of Room 104 and the second season of His Dark Materials; as well as current programming including Perry Mason, I’ll Be Gone in the Dark and I May Destroy You; and late night favorites Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Real Time with Bill Maher, all of which will continue to air new episodes in the second half of 2020.

Max Originals showcased in the spot are tentpole scripted dramas The Flight Attendant and Raised by Wolves; feature films An American Pickle and Let Them All Talk; intimate docu-series Expecting Amy; international darling Frayed; new seasons of fan favorites Search Party and Doom Patrol; animated programs Close Enough, Adventure Time: Distant Lands-BMO, Summer Camp Island, and Infinity Train; and the hotly anticipated Friends Reunion Special.

REAL TALK:

This is a heck of a preview. Some highly anticipated programming. I can’t wait for a few of them in particular. I’m excited about Showbiz Kids. Should be compelling and offer an inside perspective of growing up in the industry. I’ve seen the Lovecraft Country trailer and it looks fantastic, especially with J.J. Abrams and Jordan Peele producing. The Undoing stars Nicole Kidman, so right there you know it’s gonna be good.

There is one show that completely sold me on it after seeing the trailer, which I wasn’t initially interested in. That show is An American Pickle, starring Seth Rogen. It’s slated for an August release and I can’t wait. Looks to be crazy and hilarious.

The shows that already debut that everyone seems to be buzzing about that I must check out are Perry Mason and the documentary series I’ll Be Gone In The Dark. I’ve seen billboards around LA for a while already. Then there is the Friends Reunion and next year it’s the Zack Snyder Cut of The Justice League.

HBO Max already is delivering from the jump with a lot of original and compelling content. Not to mention all the other already established hits such as Westworld. Plus my two personal favorites in Succession and Hard Knocks. I NEED HBO Max!
