Taco and vegan lovers, rejoice! Sugar Taco is about to change the game. The brand new LA hotspot has an all-vegan menu and specializing in tacos. What a perfect combo. Healthy and tasty. Sugar Taco held its grand opening in LA recently and many celebrities came out to support the event. Reel Talker was present to check out the restaurant and cover the red carpet.
REAL TALKER:
I don’t ever see a reason to complain about covering a red carpet, unless, you’re covering Sugar Taco and are smelling the incredible food all night. This place is legitimate in every sense. The place prides itself on healthy and tasty eating and going green in the process. Vegan Mexican food. Dairy free horchata. Plus a lot more.
Another awesome aspect about this place is that it is women owned. Jayde Nicole, model and former Playmate is one of the owners of the place, along with Brittany Littleton and more influential ladies that are part-owners and investors.
The red carpet had a great showing. Jeremy Renner was there, Ian Ziering, Property Brothers, several Playboy Playmates, Michael Trevino, Red Foo, and many more. The support was evident. Lots of the people I spoke to on the red carpet were vegans themselves and strong supporters of healthy eating. So the support was genuine.
Inside the restaurant was a festive atmosphere. Free appetizers from the menu and drinks. It was a lot of fun. The place is in a prime trendy area of West LA, located on Melrose. I’m expecting this place to be a major hotspot. If you’re in the area, check it out.
